I began working with metal in early 2023, as my first venture into wearables, with the idea of creating handmade pieces inspired by my painting themes. As with all artistic pursuits, a sense of exploration, experimentation and expression are key. I think of these as ‘miniature extensions of my paintings, in different materials, rather than as commercial products.
